He says he’s my mate. I only know he will either be my salvation…or my ruin.

I’ve been chosen by House Stryker to show the vampire lord the way to his Omega. This is my one purpose in life, the only reason I exist.

And I cannot fulfill my purpose.

For reasons unknown to me, my visions have abandoned me. Along with my hope.

Because if I cannot get my visions back, I risk being traded to a house known for its cruelty.

All seems lost. Until he appears.

He says I am his fated mate. That I have only to trust him, and my gifts will be restored.

But believing him, trusting him means walking a path that is hidden from me. It means turning my back on everything I believe in…and the only family I have ever known.

Foreseen Fate is the prequel novella in the Covenant Omegaverse. This couple is human not OV.

Review

I received Foreseen Fate in return for an honest review from the author.

First off can we just admire how stunning that cover is because it's gorgeous and I'm obsessed.

I loved Christian and Elora they just worked so well they have this sweet omega chemistry which just works so well. Christian stole my heart when he took her to the bookstore. I was done for and the book girlie in me fell hard. Elora is sweet but Christian is just swoon worthy in every way.

I'm a tad bit of an addict for omegaverse stories and Foreseen Fate doesn't disappoint it's a paranormal omegaverse which is unique and refreshing. The characters are easy to connect with you can't help falling for them. I admit while I loved Christian i'm intrigued by Lord Stryker and super curious to see his story.

This is my first book by the author and I'm addicted the story telling is beautiful it was easy to get lost in the story and I ended up finishing it in one afternoon, It was impossible to put down and I had to know what would happen next so I devoured it. My only complaint is I want more now and can't wait to get my hands on the next book. I loved everything about it from the stunning cover to the last page. It was perfect and I'm obsessed.

Synopsis

From USA Today Bestselling author Nikki Ash comes a secret pregnancy, office romance ...

Nate

One minute, I’m minding my own business, and the next, I’m rescuing a beautiful woman in front of my family’s hotel.

I’m not prepared for the instant attraction I feel for her, but the chemistry is undeniable.

Paige warns me all she can give me is London, and I agree, but when our time is up, I’m desperate for more.

I slip my card into her purse, hoping she will call, but after two months of silence, it’s clear she’s not going to.

So, I do what any man in my position would do …

I go after her.

Paige

What started as a grand gesture for the man I thought was the one ends with me fleeing after catching him with my best friend.

With tears in my eyes and my heart in my hand, I stumble on the cobblestone. One second, I’m closing my eyes and praying I don’t die, and the next, I’m being swept off my feet by a handsome stranger—literally.

Nate shows me passion like I’ve never known, and it only takes five unforgettable days to fall head over heels for him.

Faced with the harsh reality of long-distance love, I make a heart-wrenching decision to throw away his number—a choice I believe will spare us both from inevitable heartbreak.

But after returning home, I realize what a colossal mistake I made. Because what had happened in London didn’t stay in London …

Review

I received Waiting On You by Nikki Ash in return for an honest review from Enticing Journey Book Promotions.

Paige has trust issues after her world has been shattered a few times. So when a chance encounter puts her in the path of Nate she never expected to find the magic she lost when she lost her mom. What should have been a whirlwind adventure in London has left her with a gift that changed her life forever.

I love Nate and Paige they are just adorable. I think Nate is perfect for Paige and I love that he came up with an elaborate plan to find her. I love the sweet and steam romance between them. It just works so well. I've read the prior books but gosh and I say this each time I just fall more in love with each couple. Paige is my favorite but I love all the characters.

The author has done an amazing job creating a captivating story with characters you can't help falling in love with. I ended up devouring this one in just one afternoon it was impossible to put it down. I love the that prior characters are connected to Paige but I wasn't ready to say goodbye to Kira and Ana just yet. I loved every moment of the series and while I hate to see it end it was a perfectly executed.

Nikki Ash is on my auto buy list, she's one of my favorite authors. A truly talented storyteller with characters to fall in love with and stories to get lost in. Highly recommend all her books.

Happy 2025

Happy Saturday!

I've been in a bit of a slump. Trying to figure out what I want to do as I've noticed engagement is down for bloggers. I've talked to friends who have also noticed that engagement is down. However, I love my little blog and I want to focus more on it.

I'm going to grow and evolve as that's the only way.

So lots of bookish content as well as lots of foodie and crafty stuff. Just a little place for me to share my thoughts and loves.

2025 Goals

Read 200 books but we all know that I will exceed that as I'm a little bit of a reader.

I'm going to bake lots of sourdough.

Lots of healthy recipes.

I hope to finish a bunch of crafty projects as well as learn a few new projects.

I hope to read all of Betty Neels Books

Post daily here!

Sounds like a great start to the new year!!!

Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted by

Synopsis

Have you ever wished the hand that constantly wraps around your throat would squeeze just a little tighter, hold your head down in his lap a little longer so all the hurt, pain and torture would seep away just like your last breath? No? Just me? I think about it daily. I’m not suicidal, but it sounds better and better with each day that passes.

Depravity. Used. Unloved.

Those three words say it all. On the outside, I paint a picture of Happiness, Confidence and Strength. Inside I’m a fraud, but I have no choice. It's a double-edged sword that keeps slashing through the wounds I try so hard to heal.

Secrets. Blackmail. Murder.

It’s senior year, and even that comes with a price. I’m tired of living a lie, tired of being everyone else's puppet. I want out. I want out so badly that I’ll do anything to get out of this town, even if that means selling my soul to the five Cyprus Brothers of Daggerspoint.

Everything comes at a price.

How far are you willing to go to pay for your freedom?

This is a why choose dark romance. Check the author's website for a content warning. This book is intended for readers 18 years old +. This is book 1 of 3.This will end with a cliffhanger.

What's an upcoming release you are excited to get your hands on?

Book Review: The Duchess Takes it All

Title - The Duchess Takes it All
Author - Michelle McLean
Genre -  Historical Romance
Format - Arc Review Copy
Publication date: Nov 26th 2024
Buy it on (Amazon
Add to your shelf (Goodreads)

Synopsis

A widowed duchess in possession of a fortune must be in want of a husband...or is she? It's a battle of wills in this delightfully clever, enemies-to-lovers romance that's perfect for fans of Tessa Dare and Beverly Watts

Tamsin Palmer—the recently widowed Duchess of Clevesly—has almost anything a woman of common birth could want: wealth, title, estate, and even her adored toddler son. But it's not exactly easy. She's been ostracized by the ton due to her decidedly unblue blood. And worse still, her dearly departed duke has assigned a co-guardian of their son: the handsome (if insufferable) Count of Rauchberg, who seems most insistent on dictating the terms of Tamsin's duchy. But not if she has anything to say about it...

Christian August has never been so vexed in his life. He's come to help raise the duchess's son, and in return, she's doing everything she can to destroy his peace of mind. Unleashing goats, secretly shortening the cuffs of his shirts, and—damn the infernal woman—driving him to distraction with her flashing eyes and soft, kissable lips. It's enough to make a man forget his duty...

With every argument, the longing grows stronger. With every diabolical prank, the temptation becomes greater. And they'll risk everything to win...even if it means surrendering to a passion that will destroy them both.

The Duchess Takes It All takes place in the same world as Four Weddings and a Duke.

Review

I received The Duchess Takes it All in return for an honest review as part of the tour hosted by TLC book Tours.

Tamsin didn't marry for love but she did for duty and when she ends up a young widow with her son she has no plans to get married again. She has her own plans and agenda's to earn her place in society and raise her son. However fate it not on her side, Christian is duty bound to take care of his cousins young wife and son as well as get his estates in order. Little did he know that Tamsin was going to challenge him every step of the way.

I just love Tamsin she's such a wonderful character and she instantly has me cheering her on in her adventures. I loved that she tormented Christian while they were in the country. They have this sweet snarky connection that I just loved and he's perfect for her even if it wasn't obvious to them right from the start.

I ended up devouring this one almost in one sitting as I started it in the evening and ended up having to stop for bed but I finished it first thing in the morning. I loved the characters they were easy to connect with and it makes it hard to put down. The author has done a beautiful job creating a captivating story. This is my first book by the author but I'm hooked and need to read her backlist. I'm a huge historical romance fan and this one checked all the boxes it even had me giggling out loud which I loved.

Synopsis

Filthy, ruined, and left for dead. What a perfect birthday gift.

Four powerful, mythical men want to claim me as a sweet but possessive light pegasus, a reclusive and scarred bear shifter, a deadly, twisted dark pegasus, and an unhinged imp shifter with a soul as fractured as mine.

They’re everywhere I turn—wanting me, loving me, protecting me—no matter how hard I push them away.

But they don’t understand that I can never be theirs. That I can’t accept our bond, that I can’t accept them.

The night my father orchestrated my so-called “initiation,” something inside me broke. A part of me that can never be mended, no matter how much they try.

I can’t acknowledge our mate bond because I can’t bear to be touched. My choice was taken from me, leaving me broken and shattered, a shell of who I once was. And in my struggle to reclaim my life, the only way I know to protect myself is to retreat.

But when a stalker starts leaving a trail of blood in my name, I’m forced out of hiding and into their arms. My mates want me whole. They can’t accept the pieces I offer—not forever.

It feels easier just to let the darkness consume me.

Don’t Touch is the first book in the Not All Men trilogy. It’s a glacial-burn paranormal why choose romance, that contains possessive men, a snarky, coming into herself heroine, and a familiar world full of shifters, danger and excitement.

Review

I received Don't Touch in return for an honest review as part of the tour hosted by Chaotic Creatives.

I ended up devouring this one it was impossible to put down and even when I had to it was constantly on my mind. I just loved Maeve she's got some issues but I think that's what her so relatable because she wasn't perfect. Her men are perfect they complement her in their own unique ways and together it just works. I think Lucifer might be my favorite as he's a little twisted and dark. However, they all bring something to the group.

I found the characters easy to connect with and the story captivating. I enjoyed the story it was beautifully written with engaging characters that you can't help falling in love with. I ended up finishing in less then 24 hours after staying up late to finish. I just couldn't put it down and now I have a bit of book hangover.

This is my first book by the author but I'm obsessed I love a paranormal why choose with broken characters it's my favorite. I'm hooked and can't wait to get my hands on the next one because the cliffhanger was well done and left me dying for more. In the meantime I plan to read her back list because I enjoyed this one so much. Highly recommend for fans of why choose romance this one might be my favorite of this year. I just loved it so much it was just what I've been needing.
